Creating a scalable BNG business model for farms bordering nature reserves
This project will support a Northants farm bordering Summer Leys Nature Reserve to develop a replicable business case for Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and create a decision-making process for farmland neighbouring or in protected areas. The case will assess and incorporate delivery synergies with the reserve manager and will include a cost benefit analysis of alternative land uses for the farmland, being Countryside Stewardship (CS), SANGS & agriculture (continuing current use).
