Halo Hub | Habitat & Land Observation Community
The Habitat and Land Observation (HALO) brings together practitioners, researchers, students and innovators using tools like satellite imagery, drones, remote sensing and bioacoustics to monitor and restore habitats across the UK. It’s a collaborative space to learn faster, share what works, and connect across disciplines.
Why join?
Effective use of land and habitat observation technologies depends as much on shared learning as on the tools themselves. The HALO Hub provides a space to:
- Explore challenges and opportunities together, through open discussion of what is working, what isn’t, and why.
- Share insights and experience, from early questions and observations to project examples and lessons learned.
- Connect across disciplines and sectors, bringing practitioners, academics and innovators into conversation around nature monitoring
Whether you are just beginning to explore nature technologies, expanding your skills, or bringing years of experience, the HALO Hub offers a space to learn and contribute at your own pace.
