High Water Common Ground is a unique documentary film exploring those communities most affected by flooding and the innovative methods of flood risk management. It draws upon real examples from around England. This event will begin with a discussion with the filmmaker and ecologist, Andy Clark, and panelists from Slow The Flow Calderdale, Environment Agency, University of Dundee and University of Leeds.

There is a strong interest in what ecosystem services, natural capital and nature-based solutions mean for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Sustainability Appraisal (SA). This training course will cover how you might uses these concepts in EIS, SEA & SA and the challenges and opportunities they pose. This course is for professionals involved in the environmental assessment processes across diverse sectors.
