CreditNature: The application of CreditNature’s approach to high-integrity nature finance in Wales
About
Since 2022, CreditNature has been developing a pioneering nature credit market in Scotland, supported by the Scottish Government, NatureScot, and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). This initiative focuses on creating a sustainable market infrastructure that drives investment into measurable nature restoration outcomes, including biodiversity enhancement, regenerative livestock farming and carbon sequestration. The CreditNature system prioritises local stakeholders, providing a digital platform that simplifies participation for farmers, landowners, and communities. With successful testing across a range of land models, from lowland catchments to upland hill farms, and proven funding success in Scotland, this webinar will highlight the potential of the CreditNature approach in Wales.
