Building Business Demand for Nature-based Solutions – Findings from GFI’s recent report
Drawing on insights from GFI’s forthcoming report, Developing Regional Economic Resilience through Nature-based Solutions: Building Business Demand (to be published at the end of the month), this webinar will explore how we can strengthen demand for nature-based solutions (NbS) and unlock greater private sector investment in resilience outcomes. Building on GFI’s recent work in Norfolk and Suffolk, the report brings together lessons from leading organisations, businesses and projects across the UK to identify the key barriers and opportunities to scaling demand for resilience outcomes.
The session will share the report’s key findings – and what they mean for project developers and other supply-side actors – alongside practical lessons from projects that are navigating challenges around business engagement, demand aggregation, revenue generation and developing compelling investment cases for NbS.
