Bioregioning Tayside: Change The Frame, Change The Story
30th January 2024
Description
Bioregioning Tayside is building community resilience through the concept of a Bioregion; a place where boundaries are defined first and foremost by topographic and biological features rather than political or administrative designations. This webinar explored how bioregioning is relevant across the UK, it links with regeneration across ecosystems, communities and argo-ecological practices. Bioregioning Tayside aims to reframe the way we see the unique places where we live and work to enable:
- Reconnection with those natural systems, and each other.
- Re-orientation of our human activity in our locality – economic, social – to promote resilient environments and livelihoods.
- Restoration of the natural systems on which we all depend.
