National Parks Partnerships (NPP) works with a range of corporate partners and funders to deliver positive impact through the UK’s fifteen National Parks. These inspiring landscapes cover 10% of Great Britain and host over 100 million visits every year.

Revere is a collaboration between National Parks UK and global impact consultancy, Palladium, that scales nature-based solutions across the UK’s National Parks and beyond. The Revere team develops best-in-class nature restoration projects, with co-benefits for biodiversity, climate, local communities and livelihoods. Their model does not include land acquisition; instead they ensure communities reap the rewards of private investment into nature.

Nature Returns is an HM Government sponsored programme which aims to quantify the potential of nature-based solutions with data, enabling governments, businesses, and NGOs alike to deliver improved, cost-effective outcomes for biodiversity, people and climate. It is led by Natural England, working in partnership with Environment Agency, Forestry Commission and Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Wakehurst.

Nature Returns is supporting six projects across England to deliver land use change at landscape scale and empowering them to evaluate the risks and opportunities presented by blending private and public finance.

Programme scientists from Natural England and RBG Kew, Wakehurst are using pioneering techniques at these project sites to measure carbon sequestration and storage across a broad range of habitats. This will help build the evidence base to inform land use decision making and emerging carbon markets.
