The restoration of land, water and nature is integral to the climate transition and a nature-positive economy. There is now huge interest in an enhanced role for private money in achieving this.
Organisations throughout Scotland are working hard to ensure that this ‘nature finance’ will deliver the best outcomes for people, the environment, and businesses.
This event brought together 125 representatives of key organisations involved in nature finance.
The Nature Finance Scotland Forum 2023 followed the Nature Finance UK Conference that took place in London on 26th September 2023. We were delighted that the event was addressed by Gillian Martin MSP, Minister for Energy and the Environment, Scottish Government. Participants were able to:
- Meet pioneers in nature finance from across Scotland
- Learn what is needed for scale, pace and high integrity
- Find opportunities for collaboration.
