London launch of The £1 Billion Challenge, the Scottish Conservation Finance Project.

Presented by Jo Pike of Scottish Wildlife Trust and John Rowan, until recently Group Treasurer of Virgin Money.

Scotland was among the first nations to pledge support for the Sustainable Development Goals and has been at the forefront of a number of pioneering environmental initiatives, including the World Forum on Natural Capital. The Scottish Conservation Finance Project is a brand new initiative bringing together leaders from finance, government, business and civil society to deliver the £1 Billion Challenge. The challenge aims to bring a wide range of social, environmental and economic benefits to Scotland while generating returns for investors. The Natural Capital Investment Conference is serving as the London launch for this project and this seminar will provide an opportunity to hear how the £1 Billion Challenge is shaping up.
