Developments in farming for a net zero Britain
Over the past decade farming practices in the UK have changed greatly. Today the landscape continues to develop as farmers change their practice to support the aim of the UK to reach net zero by 2050.
This webinar looks at how the agriculture industry is responding to national and international policy by adopting new practices to both reduce emissions and sequester carbon.
About
Achieving net zero within the agricultural industry requires consideration across the supply chain, including animal feed, nutrient management and farm equipment. Farmers from different sectors have taken action to reduce emissions including changes to cover crop and conducting carbon audits. This webinar looks at sites of good practice for reaching net zero targets. It includes policy and practical reflections on the developments of modern farming practice in the UK and the change in the impact on the ecosystems from the perspective of carbon capture.
