Securing the required investment to help protect and improve the UK’s valuable marine and coastal natural assets remains an urgent priority. Our changing climate, together with increasing resource and energy demands, mean we must find new financing models for the conservation of marine habitats and species, for coastal protection and the support of sustainable coastal economies. This session will take us to the heart of the ‘natural capital investment challenge’ for marine and coastal areas, with lessons for natural capital restoration more generally.
